Say I Do A Romance Collection eBook Crystal Kaswell Reviews
- If your looking to read a new author this bundle of books from Crystal Kaswell is a great place to start. In this bundle she has taken 3 of her books from different series she has written so you can get a taste. These books will keep you on the edge of your seat and you will not be able to put it down until you have finished every last one of these stories. I love how Crystal writes her love stories she pulls you in and gets you hooked and you start to feel for the characters. While you read your hoping for each one of these characters to get there happy endings.
- How is it possible that my most favorite stories have been bundled together?! I absolutely adore Joel and boss Bella! Ryan and tough Leighton! And Pete and sweet sweet Jess! All three of these stories make me weak in the knees and have so much passion and dirty talking tattooed hunks I cant take it!!!
- I enjoyed this collection of romances by Crystal Kaswell. Each story has interesting well-developed characters with chemistry. The stories are interesting, well-written with happily ever afters. In addition to receiving an arc, I purchased the book for my collection.
- I simply adored joel. Hot sexy drummer and Bella the sexy nerdy looking librarian. They meet one night. Next morning they are married.
- Love Joel and Bella’s story! It’s funny and sweet. Loved the sneak peek of Accidental Husband can’t wait!
- This is the second book I have read it tried to read by this author and my biggest complaint is the completely lazy writing/editing. The authors favorite phrase is obviously "my sex clenches" as a simple search on this phrase will show it's used at least 15 times in every book. For goodness sake, buy a freaking thesaurus. Even if the writer didn't realize she was doing it, a good editor should have corrected this habit some time ago. Be creative and find another way to day it. Improve your writung. The stories are mostly good, albeit formulaic. However I cannot seem to make myself get past the lazy vocabulary. It got to the point that every time I saw the words my and sex together I thought to myself " I'll bet it clenched. So lazy, so annoying. It completely took me out of the story because of how frequently it was used. Just please, learn some new words, or stop being afraid of the ones you already know.
- Say I Do is a three-book bundle with a book from each of Crystals Series. They’re each a Must Read Series.
Dangerous Rock Sweet Angsty Romance
Joel and Bella have a whirlwind romance. Joel is suffering from heart break and disappointment. Bella is floating through the life that's expected of her. They both collide into each other in Vegas. Their story gives you the feel goods at the same time your heart is hurting for Bella and rooting for Joel to help heal her.
Pretend You’re Mine Angsty Friends to Lovers Romance
Ryan's heart has been torn to shreds by his ex-girlfriend and Leighton wants to be the to heal him. Leighton is also dealing with her own emotional issues. This may be my favorite book in the Inked Heart Series.
Play Your Hear Out Finding Love When You Least Suspect It
Pete Sinful Serenades bass player just had his heart torn to shreds so he's having his way with every willing woman in LA. Jess is a quiet and shy, she's working her way through law school while trying to mend her broken heart. When they both cross paths sparks fly. I really loved Pete’s story. He's so confused and guarding his heart. Jess becomes a strong-willed woman who won't let Pete take advantage of her.
I received an advanced copy of this manuscript and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. - This boxset contains three of the author's novels as well as an extended sample of one that is coming out this spring. I loved the cover; it looks so sweet and innocent that I thought the stories would be the same. So I was a little surprised when the first novel started out with a fair amount of profanity. That story, Dangerous Rock, is about a spur-of-the-moment marriage between a rock musician and a usually more proper woman. The second one, Pretend You’re Mine, has a man pretending to be dating his best female friend so that he can save face at his ex’s wedding...but it starts to become real. The final one, Play Your Heart Out, is another story about a “pretend†relationship. This time, a rockstar who has the image of “boyfriend†is now minus his real-life girlfriend; his record company wants him to get another one ASAP. So he hires a law student to pretend to be his girlfriend; he’ll pay for her law school.
I found these novels to be disappointing. They are so different for my expectation, not knowing the author’s reputation and just judging the book by the cover. The books are pretty much all sex and profanity, and there isn't much distinction between various characters and how they speak or act; each character should always be individual. I found the style of writing choppy as well. There were a lot of one sentence paragraphs which, doesn't make for an easy or insightful read.
I received a free copy of this book, but that--obviously--didn't affect my review.
